I have a tendency towards collections of things. Images, books, jewelry, even tourist pens (!). And so, when I saw Jenny Odells work, I found it quite interesting. Taking recognizable things out of their element makes you examine their shapes more closely, as well as the effect many of them have when clumped together. She removes bits and pieces of our landscape from their Google Map home, and makes really neat compositions from them.
