A month ago, instead of walking right by the International Poster Gallery (on newbury), I decided to actually go in, and was pleasantly, pleasantly surprised. Although a woman bought, of all things, a huge iPod advertisement while I was in there, I gravitated towards all of the other beauuuutiful posters.
Johan Emil Muller’s Rochers de Naye, 1935
luggage label from 1930
Monte Bre, poster from 1946
Gaston Gourde’s Poursites Blanches, 1936
And especially, Kleine Rigi by Otto Landolt in 1914.
